With approximately 40-50,000 truck movements per year of both concrete trucks, fully laden cement and aggregate trucks the Allied Concrete plant at Penrose receives  considerable wear. Constructed with 35 MPa concrete with 25kg of Novocon steel fibre sawcut at 5m centres with free joints every 30m this yard has performed flawlessly for many years.
